The claims page provides users who earned rewards during Iron Age and Golden Age to claim their allocations for Mainnet. Please view the following sections in this article on how the claim process works, common questions, and KYC related questions.
Who is eligible to participate?
IF you are from one of the countries listed on the OFAC list, you will be automatically rejected. If you already paid to KYC, your funds are non-refundable, and you will be ineligible to claim your reward. If you feel there was a mistake in processing your KYC due to your country of origin, please reach out to [email protected] to have your KYC status reset and try again.

1.First go to the claims page and connect your Discord account.
2. Connect your mainnet wallet that you wish to receive your airdrop. Be sure to choose a wallet that is secure, as this cannot be changed in the claims process
3. Before undergoing the KYC process, please view the KYC FAQ section of this article to understand what you will need and what to avoid so the process is successful.
4. Add your wallet(s) to connect to the claims page.
5. Now you can view and track your claims in one location.

How are the rewards calculated?
Rewards are calculated from a combination of social media rewards and previous testnet incentives.
Do Galxe points count towards rewards?
Galxe points are counted in rewards distributions and will be distributed in upcoming waves.
What is SMRP?
This stands for Social Media Rewards Program. The following social media rewards multipliers for discord roles were applied:
Citizen: 1.5x
Mariner: 2x
Apostle: 2.5x
Demigod: 5x
Also the following roles recieved a bonus of the following.
1,000 additional mainnet $QUAI for every @Quaioneer
2,000 additional mainnet $QUAI for every @Ranger
What token will I receive from the claim?
All claims will be paid based on which wave you participate in. For more information visit our blog.
When will I receive my tokens after completing the claim?
You will receive your tokens in the genesis block of the network during the TGE event. There will be a lock up period for all tokens before transactions can be sent on the network.
How long do I have to claim my tokens?
Please review the blog post that details the waves and periods for claiming your tokens. You must complete all steps, including KYC to be eligible for distribution of Quai.
Are there any fees associated with claiming my tokens?
Yes. All users who are eligible to claim will need to pay $5 before they complete their KYC. Users can pay in ETH at the provided addresses in the Claims portal. This covers any administrative costs associated with performing the KYC process.
What about tokens I accumulated during Iron Age (not Golden Age)?
You will be able to claim tokens from each of the previous testnets, including stone, bronze and iron age testnets. Stone Age and Bronze Age rewards are already linked to your Discord authentication. For Iron Age rewards, you will need to download the old version of Pelagus and sign transactions with the addresses you mined Quai with.
Which wallets are supported by the token claim?
Pelagus will be the only wallet supported in the claims page.
Can I use my hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor to receive my tokens?
Currently there is not a Ledger or Trezor integration with the Quai Network.

Why do we need to KYC?
To ensure we are compliant with regulations for issuing tokens.
What do I need to complete KYC?
$5 in ETH to pay for KYC process
A valid passport (preferred), National ID, and Driver Licesnes are accepted for all levels of KYC.
A device to capture liveness to prove you are a real person
Can I claim my tokens without completing KYC?
No, KYC is required.
What if we are in a OFAC restricted region?
Then you can’t claim your tokens, sorry. Please view the latest OFAC Countries list for restricted regions.
Why did I fail KYC and what can I do?
If your KYC failed, you will be ineligible to claim tokens.

Do I get a refund if I fail KYC?
No.
Why is there a $5 fee for the KYC verification process?
The payment is to prevent spam from bots and fake accounts and to cover the cost associated with verifying user’s identity.
How does the KYC fee help prevent sybil attacks and ensure network security?
By having users pay a small fee for KYC, we will reduce the number of fake KYC checks and incentivize users to follow the rules set out by the claims process. This in turn will reduce the cost of us verifying our users while staying compliant with all regulatory requirements.
What if I cannot afford the $5 KYC fee because it’s a large fee for my region?
All users will be required to pay the fee. If you cannot pay the fee and pass KYC you will be ineligible to participate in the claims process.
Will the $5 KYC fee vary based on my country or region?
The fee will be the equivalent of $5 USD.
What does the $5 fee cover, and is Quai Network profiting from it?
The fee covers administrative costs and serves as an anti-sybil mechanism.
Will paying the KYC fee guarantee that I will receive my tokens?
No. The KYC fee is to be eligible to attempt the KYC process. Paying the fee gives no guarantee of receiving mainnet tokens.
What happens if my KYC verification fails after I have paid the fee?
You still lose the fee as it’s part of the administrative costs.
Can I trust that the KYC fee is legitimate and not a scam?
Yes. The KYC process has been vetted by the Quai Network team and is being processed through a reputable KYC provider.
